ABOUT RECKLESS INNOVATION CO.
Reckless Innovation Co was started in January, 2024, by owners: Corey Johnson and Jadan White. Corey and Jadan met at the University of Wyoming as classmates studying Construction Management. They discovered a common interest in go karts and business and RIC was born. The RIC shop is located in a small, unheated garage in Laramie, Wyoming. The shop may seem primitive, but it's got an espresso machine, a mini fridge, and everything else we need to build one of a kind mini machines. Were here to bring a mix of recklessness, creativity, innovation, and professionalism to the powersports industry with our ideas and products.
MEET THE TEAM
Corey Johnson: Co-Owner, Head of Marketing and Development: Reckless Innovation
Hey there. I'm Corey. I am 21 years old. I grew up on a small hobby farm in northern Colorado, but for now I call Laramie Wyoming my home. A few of my hobbies include hunting, snowmobiling, offroading, looking at cows, and of course building stuff. I found my way to Wyoming to go to UW to get a bachelors in Construction Management; I met Jadan on my first day of class and now were run a business together. My interest in go karts was sparked when I was around 10 years old... I saw a group of rednecks going 40 mph on lawn equipment and I was hooked! Flash forward to today and I get to build amazing machines every day with my friends: coolest job ever. My hope is that the stuff I create and build can be used as a platform to meet new people and ultimately further the gospel of Jesus in the process.
Jadan White: Co-Owner, Head of Operations, Design, and Fabrication: Reckless Innovation
Howdy, I'm Jadan. I am 22 years old. I was born in Cheyenne, WY, but was raised in Louisiana, and I've lived in Washington state and California. My hobbies are shooting, gun smithing, hunting, atv off-roading, looking at horses and donkeys, and of course designing and building stuff. I ran a startup fabrication shop for nearly two years before I moved to Laramie. My interest in go karts and atv's was sparked when I was around eight years old at my grandparents house. Flash forward to today and I get to build amazing machines every day with my friends: coolest job ever. My hope is that the stuff I create and build can be used as a platform to meet and educate people that I would otherwise never meet.
Dillon Sigman: Product Research Specialist & Quality Assurance Assistant: Reckless Innovation
Hey there. I'm Dillon. I am 21 years old. I was born and raised in Gillette, WY. I am currently earning my bachelor's degree at UW studying Construction Management. A few of my hobbies include riding, and working on motorcycles in the summer, playing on snowmobiles in the winter, camping, and getting my hands dirty working on anything. I met Corey and Jadan on at the University of Wyoming by enjoying mutual hobbies. I was first hooked on go carts when I was around 7 years old... I would always watch different motorsports on TV with my grandpa (which ultimately guided my attention for details throughout the quality of a build), and then I was shown a go cart which looked like my size, and so an addiction began. Flash forward to today and I still love go carts, and seeing the diversity possible, being how much fun they can be for kids, or adults. My ultimate joy in this adventure is seeing the excitement and joy in future motorsports enthusiast, as I was that kid growing up.
Poncho Jr. (AKA PJ): Shop mascot
Hey there. I'm PJ, short for Poncho Jr. I'm named after a miniature donkey in Laramie, WY. I'm the shop mascot and assistant product tester. My favorite Reckless Innovation product is the Mouse Mini Bike because I can reach the handlebars.
